Nike Pro Hijab

Million dollar industry
In addition to Muslim holidays and peak periods (in the UK Ramadan is worth £200 million), there is market potential throughout the year across a range of industries.

These are:

Power supply
Finance
Charities
Halal travel
Fashion and cosmetics
Media and recreation
Care and medication
Most confusion for companies that want to cater to Muslims starts with understanding and defining the need. For example, I often get the following questions: “What are the boundaries?”, “What should we pay particular attention to?” and “How can we best communicate with this group without losing our own identity?”

With small adjustments to services and products you can appeal to the entire market. I will explain how you can respond using my favorite examples, ranging from product development to the right marketing campaign.

Retail
Nike
One of my favorite examples of a brand that has tapped into the halal market is Nike. Now, this isn’t the first company that comes to mind, but Nike is the perfect example of a brand that has stayed true to its mission and vision, but has penetrated a whole new “unknown” market. Nike’s vision is “ to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world .”

While Muslim women in hijabs have been around for years, Nike became the first major brand to launch specific sports hijabs for women. With lightweight fabric and small breathing holes, the Hijab Pro is designed to make sports activities more comfortable for Muslim women. These women are just as athletic and competitive as any other woman in the world. But they have a specific need to stay covered while exercising. Nike came up with a solution that meets this need, while staying true to their mission.

Global demand for the Nike Pro Hijab india telegram data increased 125% in the first quarter, according to Lyst (the largest global fashion search platform). The Nike Pro Hijab has become one of the world's most popular clothing items. It ranked in the top 9 best-selling items . The Nike Pro Hijab debuted at number seven on Lyst's Hottest Women's Product Index . It ranks alongside Gucci trainers and Fendi handbags as one of the most sought-after fashion items of the year.

Cosmetics
Maybelline
Muslim women generally spend a lot of money on cosmetics and care. This can partly be explained by the fact that their face is often the only thing you see.

During Ramadan, Muslims are more active online than during the rest of the year. There is a trend towards watching videos on YouTube and Netflix. Cosmetics also see a boost during Ramadan. The number of hours that Muslims spend online during Ramadan increases exponentially. (Want to learn more about changing behavior during Ramadan? Download our free Ramadan Cheat Sheet .
