You have achieved great success thanks to the invention of the formula of Amuchina Gel Igienizzante and Zero Fog Plus, a special and effective anti-fog for optical lenses, medical visors and helmets. How did you do it?

Even now they ask me, “Are you the inventor of Amuchina Gel?” In 2009, when the H1N1 virus was around, people started talking about using hand gel to avoid contagion. Initially, there were orders of 10 – 20,000 pieces, then the quantities reached such a level that my father sold the patent to Angelini, which now owns the rights and sells the product. Zero Fog Plus, on the other hand, was launched a year and a half ago, when people wearing glasses had fogged lenses due to the mask. From what we've been told, it's one of the few in the world that works. We've achieved very significant numbers thanks to Luxottica, who believed in the product and also launched it in the American markets.

We know that in March 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, you imported more than 700 thousand surgical masks from China and that you donated some of them to the civil protection of Emilia-Romagna. We would like you to delve deeper into this event.

In February 2020, when Covid was still limited to China, my father said it would arrive here too. He launched our fabric Medi Masks on the market, which were a great success; with the regulations on masks, ffp2, ffp3 and surgical masks became more important. Since we have strong trade relations with China, it was easy to buy them in large quantities. We decided to donate some of them to the civil protection because we thought it was right to help the community. We also donated some to the Municipality of Medicina, which distributed them to the citizens.
