New beehive – Apiary.
Did you know that in Europe we have 2,000 species of bees, of which 10% are endangered?
At the end of the year, we gifted our clients with bees. Each of us received an adoption certificate for 100 bees for Christmas as a thank you for the cooperation and a symbol of being in the same boat. Or perhaps in the same hive?
This isn't just a whim, this makes sense
You may be wondering why we decided to support bees . It's not just because our agency is called Včeliště (although that also plays a role). We are aware that over the past winters, more than 50% of European bee colonies have died out . And since most plant species, including agricultural crops, depend on bee pollination, the problem could very soon affect people's livelihoods and the environment. If we lose bees, humanity, which depends on bees, will also die out. We are also honored to support the honest craft of beekeeping , which already has a long tradition in our region. And let's talk about it - isn't real Czech honey simply delicious?
Up to 50,000 bees visit a beehive.
Did you know that the pesticides that farmers use to fertilize rapeseed fields, for south korea phone number data example, are poisonous to bees?
4 tips on how you can protect bees too
Do you like our idea? If so, support one of the beekeepers in the Czech Republic just like we do. If you don't have this opportunity, start helping the insects personally in your garden:
Plant flowers – whether you have a garden or balcony boxes, make the bees happy and plant a variety of plants for them. Thanks to you, bees can have flowers available for pollination from spring to autumn.
Don't use chemical sprays - try to fight weeds and aphids naturally. For aphids, try nettle broth.
Take a break from mowing the lawn – don’t drive your lawn mower through your garden as often. This will provide plants for bees to perch on and pollinate.
