We are preparing a separate article on this topic Richard Klačko: Compared – do the tools have correct data on keyword searches? by David Graman As one of the last speakers at SEO Restart, Richard Klačko took the floor, who was really not afraid of it and started comparing keyword search data. Three tools were compared for data, namely: Marketing Miner Collab Ahrefs All data from these 3 tools was compared with data from Google Search Console. And how did he compare the data? This was data that came from 25 different websites over the past 12 months and ranged from positions 1-8 within this period. In total, over 7 thousand keywords were examined. And what did Richard actually want to find out? He wanted to find out how many queries with zero search volume actually do not have zero search volume and how inaccurate the search volume is reported by the tools.

So what was the result? As can be seen from the graph, Ahrefs came closest to the data from GSC, and Collabi is the furthest away. So, what about the data from tools whose keywords show zero searches, but GSC shows impressions for this data? Richard showed us that in the following graph. As you can see, Marketing Miner evaluated the most keywords in this area that have zero search volume. On the contrary, Collabim had the fewest of these keywords. There were many more questions asked during the Belgium Mobile Database lecture as part of this comparison. For example, how many keywords are undervalued by the tools, which are overvalued, and how many keywords have +- the same values.
