I sincerely think that the theme addressed has a lot to do with it, it is a theme that everyone recognizes themselves in, a theme that unites. We find our guide(s), we follow them so as not to get lost and get lost in ourselves. Group work is rare in our society. The world of work and the private sphere rarely offer the opportunity to do things together. It is a whole learning process. Participating in a common work means giving up being just yourself and it is not easy. Mixing theater professionals and volunteers is a very human and very effective approach for the development of a creation.

Theatre is a special world with its rules and conventions. For the layman who looks at the stage from the outside, everything seems self-evident. The spectator is faced with the finished product. Once inside, he realizes its complexity. As a volunteer, we sometimes feel lost, overwhelmed, we doubt and we are afraid of not being up to it. The professionals are then our pillar, the tree to which we cling so as not to fall. They help us take up the challenge of doing and being what we do not do and what we are not in ordinary life. And it works.

We listen, we learn, we apply and it works. Bonds are slowly woven, weaknesses are revealed, the personal comes to mingle with the professional. The group becomes more human and stronger.

After thirty years working for major groups, including Knoll International, Glaxo, Essec executive education, Kornferry International, Florence Grewling left the corporate world. Major events led her to reconsider the direction of her personal and professional life and guided her towards a process of seeking meaning in her commitments. After refocusing on fundamental human values, she decided to focus on making philosophy known to as many people as possible, a humanist and civic philosophy. For several months, she has been thinking about the creation of an inclusive multicultural space offering everyone access to the arts and philosophy with particular attention to people with sensory disabilities, with a concern for social and solidarity ethics. Florence Grewling's participation in Gary Stevens' project as well as in Fausto Urru's photo projects in Colombes allows her both to pursue activities that she is passionate about and to analyze how her philosophical approach can fit into the changing framework of creativity.
