The most common UX mistakes of online stores

Post by nusaiba124 »

UX is an absolute must in e-commerce. Online stores are not information or entertainment sites after all. Users go there to make a purchase – and if something bothers them, they will probably leave the store and find another – easier to use.

What UX errors do we most often detect in online stores?

Too long loading of the page or its individual resources. Very often it turns out that the uploaded files (e.g. photos) are simply too large, which increases the loading time of the site.
Problems with responsiveness or simply a complete lack of sweden telegram data adaptation of the site to display on mobile devices. This results in both low conversion and poor visibility in search engines.
Poorly constructed product cards that do not contain the most important information from the user's point of view (e.g. regarding key parameters or delivery time).
Poorly constructed category structure and non-intuitive navigation. When a user cannot easily find the products they are interested in, they will probably give up searching.
Unclear messages. There are certain standards that should not be changed. The user should have no doubts about what will happen when they click on a given button or link.
Low-quality content. The user must easily find the information they need. Very long blocks of text, no paragraph division, no clear headings, complicated language – these are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to UX writing mistakes.
Registration required and too long purchasing process. Setting up an account should be an option, not a necessity.
