Selecting a Theme for Your Social Networking Site

WordPress themes are professionally designed templates that change the look and feel of your new site.

By default, every WordPress site comes with a default theme. If you visit your new site, you'll see something like this:

To get more visitors and users, it's a good idea to replace the default theme with one that matches your social media site's niche. For example, you can install any of the popular WordPress themes and customize them to your liking.

Once activated, visit the Appearance » Customize page from the WordPress admin sidebar to modify the theme to your liking.

Keep in mind that if you are using a block theme , you need to go to the Appearance » Editor page from the WordPress Dashboard to open the full site editor .

Here you can drag and drop blocks from the left column to customize your site. Once you're done, don't forget to click the "Save" button to store your settings.
