I am Tomás Santoro, in the last 10 years I have set up 4 companies: Bocetos, Totombola, OnlineMedia and SumaCRM (now part of the efficy family
For 5 years I have been 100% with the last one, SumaCRM, now efficy , and 1 month ago I told you on this blog that we had received an offer to buy a Belgian CRM (efficy CRM), and that I was going to have 100% transparency and real data throughout the entire process of the possible purchase/sale on this blog. The purchase/sale process consisted of 3 steps:
Sign the LOI (letter of intent)
Pass the Due Diligence (audit)
Sign the final contract.
Of course, I was aware that telling the process was risky ... And uff uff... I swear there are many more risks than I myself thought... but it is still worth it because this blog was born to contribute our grain of sand to the community of entrepreneurs and companies, telling our journey as we went along, just as we did from the first post when we still did not invoice anything .
We are fulfilling one of our dreams. Of the 3 steps, two Tuesdays ago I told you that we sms gateway slovenia had passed the first one: we had signed the LOI. And last Tuesday I told you that we were almost at the end of the second one: the Due Diligence.
But there was still more to the Due Diligence...
That same Tuesday, after publishing the Due Diligence post , Alexandre (R&D product manager at efficy) who already had access to our development tools (Jira and Confluence), entered our chat for the first time to be able to talk to Loren (our CTO) and thus resolve doubts more quickly. On the other hand, my partner Alfredo continued exchanging emails with Philippe (Head of Administration at efficy), and the next day, on Wednesday, they agreed to meet again where Philippe wanted to show him his Due Diligence report:
So, as you can see, there was still a lot of work to be done, so although, as I told you at the end of last Tuesday's post , Cedric (the founder of efficy) would tell me something on Friday, he didn't say anything... The reason is that on Thursday at 12:59 he sent me this email...
Yihaaaa! Hahaha! I wanted to convey the same hype that I had!
Cedric mentions in the email that this week he will send us a (draft) contract to work on . It means that the Due Diligence is finished and we are setting sail for the last island: the final contract.
