Purposefully connected?

Post by arzina221 »

Now that you spend your days (more than usual) consuming media, you realize that things have to change. And can! In that sense, everyone can also ensure that this crisis does not become 'wasted'. Think about why you do things the way you do. And why you buy from companies you do business with. Making the right choices also helps you towards your own purpose.

Do you also know the feeling that you are in a meeting and ask yourself: What is this about? Why am I here? Perhaps other people in that meeting have that too. You could almost ask: does this meeting have a 'purpose'. What is the (higher) goal?

You (probably) notice that you now have fewer meetings during the corona crisis and therefore a less full agenda. Only the necessary discussions still take place via tele- and video-calls . They also last considerably shorter than the hours that are sometimes scheduled for meetings. Apart from the travel time that you save. The rest of the time you can continue working on the things that need to be done.

Due to the pandemic, we will have fewer face-to-face meetings.
Due to the pandemic and video conferencing, we will have fewer but more effective meetings

No more pointless meetings. No more belgium telegram data being disturbed by noisy colleagues who try to be nice all day long or discuss their private matters loudly with others… No, just get started at your time, your way, the way it was meant to be.

The result is that efficiency increases significantly and productivity goes up. Of course, the desire for cohesion and togetherness of humans as group animals is great. That will return in the future. Being together in a pleasant way. But we are now learning very quickly how useful and efficient it is to also regularly work quietly by ourselves. Let us maintain that after the crisis.

3. Only together…
The first two words of the battle cry launched by the corona crisis team: 'Only together can we get corona under control' seem more like a semantic differential at first. After all, 'alone' is the opposite of 'together'. Yet it indicates exactly what is happening. The current crisis creates - even in isolation - a greater sense of community and we feel responsible to 'look out for each other a little'.
