About the Data Journalism Program
The training includes learning applied skills for working with data in the field of journalism. Graduates of the master's program will be able to effectively search, filter, analyze and process large amounts of data to format the resulting material as a media text or infographic. In addition, they will gain skills in organizing start-ups based on open data in the media sphere.

About the Cultural Data Analysis and Visualization program
The master's program is the result of collaboration between the International Scientific Laboratory of Digital Humanities Research (DHLab) and the Machine Learning Laboratory of ITMO University. Its goal is to train specialists in the field of Digital Humanities and applied intelligent systems.

The program includes 3 training tracks:

Cultural Data: Methodology & Tools, language germany telegram of instruction - English;
Analysis of cultural data, language of instruction - Russian;
Cultural Data Analysis (Advanced), language of instruction - English.
The international educational program Data, Culture and Visualization meets the growing demand for researchers, analysts, designers, usability specialists and other data professionals both in Russia and abroad.

As part of the fruitful cooperation between the International Scientific Laboratory of Digital Humanities Research (DH lab) and the Laboratory of Machine Learning in the field of data analysis and visualization, students of the program will be given the opportunity to work with cultural and social data throughout their entire life cycle: from collection and storage to statistical analysis, interpretation, visualization and distribution. Interpretation of social and cultural data is impossible without substantive knowledge. Therefore, the courses of the program are implemented jointly with the European University at St. Petersburg.

Students are provided with 25 budget and 10 contract places.
