A nofollow link contains the nofollow attribute ( rel="nofollow").
The nofollow attribute tells search engines not to pass authority (sometimes called "link juice") through the link. It means that the linking site does not want to pass authority to the linked page.
Google introduced the nofollow attribute (also called the nofollow tag) in 2005 to prevent manipulation, i.e. spam comments. When a search engine bot sees buy lithuania number database a nofollow tag, it simply ignores the link for ranking purposes.
