Use simple tools that allow you to take a look at your ideas after you write them down and use them. The tools suggested in the book Lean Customer Development can be very useful for this . And one tool that is especially useful when planning business and marketing strategy is the buyer personas template or ideal customer profile . Remember that this information should be clear, concise and easy to explain to others, so the simpler its format, the better it will be when you use it as a reference source later.

4. Create your ideal client profile
We've talked about this before. However, creating an ideal customer profile can vp safety email database be summed up by answering the following questions: Who is the person? What is their demographic/psychographic/socioeconomic context?

What are their main challenges/pains/problems? What goals do they want to achieve? How does your product/service/app/program help them achieve their goals or solve their problems? These questions are the foundation. Remember that you can always use the "buyer persona" profile template to simplify the process of creating it.

5. Validate your hypothesis
Once you know who your customer is, make calls, send emails, get out of your office and interview people who fit the profile. Ask them questions that will allow you to validate your hypothesis about the problem you think they have. Find out with open questions if that problem really exists and if it does, if it is key for that person. Don't settle for answers that are just given to impress them. Try to find out the reason for everything the person says. Only in this way will you be able to validate whether your hypothesis is true or not.

By completing these 4 steps, you can work on making your product, service or campaign available to your ideal client with the certainty that they really need it and will pay for it. Remember that the purpose of this exercise is not to create exactly what people tell you they want, but to develop the solution to their real problems.
