I don't have a budget for SEO, what can I do?

SEO is often a “luxury” when you’re starting out.

Come on, I'll stop with the mechanical metaphors and give you some ideas on things you can do when you don't have an SEO budget.

Create and optimize a Google My Business listing
You can add products (even if you sell services, it allows for a more visual display), ask your customers for reviews, add a photo, write a news story... (you don't even need to have a website!).

Update your site
WordPress plugins, the theme, WordPress in general… check that everything is up to date once a month.

Write a blog post
But be careful not just anyhow! An article that responds to a problem of your target.

For example, if you sell supplements for better skin, you could write an article about “X tips for reducing stress” or “X foods that are good for your facial skin.”

Check your site statistics
And above all, don't just stick to Google Analytics , connect it to Google Search Console and learn how to use it, it's a wealth of information to improve your natural referencing!

Publish an article on a partner's blog
Choose someone who is not in competition with you but who has a complementary theme to yours.

Improve your SEO without any budget!
By doing these actions regularly, you should already significantly improve your natural referencing .

If you don't (yet) have a website, use Google My Business to publish articles regularly.

This is a great SEO lever , especially if you sell locally.

If you have a website, it must of course be well built technically for it to work.
