Internet users want to regain control more than ever
Feed your blog using storytelling
What? You don't have a blog linked to your product or service site yet? Sorry, I'm just getting used to it! You know when something seems so obvious that you think everyone else is doing it? That's kind of how I feel about blogging.
So of course, forget about blogging worthy of the 2000s. Feeding a blog today is something else!
But if you don't know why it's essential today, sweden whatsapp I'll explain, follow me!
And if you don't have time to take care of the blog, think about delegating !
I'm here if needed!
The blog: the only space that belongs to you on the internet
Remember Myspace ? RIP…
So, you're going to tell me "yes, but Myspace was really crap..." At the time, however, no one thought for a second that the platform could disappear. In 2005, it was even the fourth most visited site behind Yahoo, AOL and MSN and ahead of eBay (source: Alexa Internet) . (Just by mentioning the first sites, you can see that everything can change in a few years...).
However, while Myspace still exists today (despite major hacking issues in 2016), it has been supplanted, or rather, crushed, by the giant Facebook .
Let's talk about MSN , huh? Remember it? I used to spend my evenings there talking to my friends from middle school and high school that I had just left.
Messenger came along and then Snapchat and Whatsapp. Nowadays, try talking to a teenager about MSN… They'll probably think you want to talk about sexually transmitted diseases and run away.
And yet, we are not talking about just any company. The behemoth Google , which represents more than 90% of the world market share, has given up on its social network due to lack of success.
What am I getting at?
One social network can easily replace another overnight depending on the preferences of Internet users and the new habits it can create.
Your posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube do not belong to you. They are stored on platforms that can disappear overnight.
Imagine you're building your business on Instagram. Tomorrow, Instagram shuts down. You lose your followers and all your hard work goes up in smoke.

Why feed your blog: social media figures
You don't believe it? Maybe a few numbers will convince you.
You will probably agree with me that the United States is generally one step ahead of us. What happens in their country will undoubtedly happen in our country 1, 2, 3 or 5 years later.
Let's look at Facebook's numbers instead: the social network has lost 15 million users in the United States in two years (source: Edison Research) . Even if Mark Zuckerberg's baby remains the most used platform worldwide, this decline is not to be taken lightly if you run a business...
I'm definitely not telling you to quit Facebook immediately. Just not to rely solely on it.
You might be tempted to tell me: "I'm on Instagram, it's cooler!" I'll stop you right there: Instagram belongs to Facebook. The exact same thing is starting to happen on both, namely more and more ads (which tends to annoy Internet users) and less organic reach (without paying, a very small percentage of your subscribers see your posts).
Instagram even unfollows users from certain accounts they don't visit often (or if you stop posting as regularly...). Yes, without asking your opinion!
Today, to get results on Facebook and Instagram, you have to spend a lot of time there and usually pay to advertise.
And what has been around since the beginning of the internet (since 1999 to be precise)?
I'll give you a thousand guesses: the blog! It has certainly evolved but it still holds up.to the invaderthrough time.
My advice: bring your community home and make them stay with your blog and newsletter. Target the right social network and spend time there to make it work.

Internet users want to take back control more than ever
Internet users are over-solicited in their daily lives. They receive information everywhere and want to be able to choose what content they consume.
Advertising is easily boring. That's why ad blockers are popular, even on smartphones. So imagine paying for an ad space on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. In reality, fewer and fewer people will see this ad and you'll be paying for nothing!
Technology is evolving, some companies are even looking for solutions to block cookies (and on YouTube they are partly successful, although AdBlock still works pretty well).
The only thing that works and that you can control: quality content published on your blog, sent via your newsletter to improve your reputation . Also think about podcasts to make yourself known and improve your SEO.

Feed your blog using storytelling
Ok, we feed our blog. But with what?
With quality content ! Yeah, I'm repeating myself but that's the only way you'll be able to attract your future customers .
And with a well-crafted editorial strategy!
People are not goldfish, contrary to what we are led to believe. Our attention span is not limited to 8 seconds. Well, yes, the content is uninteresting!
You have to capture the Internet user's attention quickly (hence the 8 seconds) by making them want to continue reading.
How? By using storytelling!
Our brains naturally function as storytellers: we constantly tell ourselves stories to understand a situation.
We then create a scenario without even realizing it to give meaning to what we are experiencing, what we have already experienced or what we are going to experience.
I'm sure you've had the experience of replaying a scene from your life in your head and thinking, "I should have said or done that . "
Storytelling is a great way to connect your brain (or your company’s brain) with your prospects’ brain. It helps create:
Suspense , anticipation among your readers ,
Empathy for any character you create (by using mirror neurons) ,
Hilarity if you use humor in your writing.
