FameLab France 2017 winner Arnold Oswald will participate in June in theinternational final at Cheltenham in the UK. He shares his impressions of the competition before he leaves.
At the time of writing this post, I have not yet participated in the international final that will be held in a month in Cheltenham. Nevertheless, it is a good time to describe what the adventure of malta mobile database FameLab France 2017 was, to encourage future curious people to take part in the next editions.
Participate in the competition
Interested in science? Fascinated by a particular field or just happy to share your wonder? Whatever the level of involvement you have in science, the FameLab system opens the door wide to anyone who is interested. The prerequisites for making a video are accessible to everyone, as long as he/she wants to. No limit of subjects! Start the camera, and speak to explain a subject that fascinates you! I suggest doing it by imagining that you are talking to a friend of a friend. In this way, it is easy to find a balance between an explanation in a friendly tone, and a precise speech.
For the record, I came across the contest announcement on the evening of January 30th while the deadline for sending videos was February 1st. Don't worry, just get started and whatever happens, nothing to lose, it's a lot of fun to do!
