Using a Business Plan to structure a chemical industry from scratch

The client was an entrepreneur with the dream of opening a dermocosmetics industry that used only national active ingredients in its composition. Her busy routine did not allow her enough time to dedicate herself to the business plan. Because of this, she turned to Líder Jr. to carry out the project.
2. The proposal
The idea proposed by Líder Jr. upon vnpay database hearing the client's demands was to create a dermocosmetics industry from scratch, initially having three stand-out products, namely: a sunscreen, a moisturizing cream and a liquid soap.
3. Challenges
The project as a whole brought several challenges to be faced, among them the main one was the lack of product formulation, a fact that made it difficult to choose the machinery and describe the production processes. In addition, the market research involved contact with dermatologists, who rarely responded to the questionnaire. Even so, 647 responses were collected in total, 82 of which were from dermatologists and beauticians. The machinery could be chosen with the support of the wide network of professors made available by UFSCar to help when necessary.

With the project, the client now has the ideal layout of the industry, in addition to all the processes of both product sales and production mapped out, the habits and preferences of the target audience well defined, allowing them to know the ideal sales price, the platforms and much more. In addition, the client has in hand a complete pricing plan for opening the business, which includes an estimate for the cost of machinery, protective equipment, hiring employees and even taxes, all of this priced in three possible scenarios for the company.
