What is a landing page?

Post by jk9686678 »

Unbounce would like to help you (and over 15,000 other businesses) “create irresistible purchase funnels” – using landing pages. How do they do it? Unbounce claims it is the only landing page builder tool that can draw on “over a decade” of conversion data and combine it with the power of AI. Based on that data, Unbounce believes it can even optimize your page and instantly generate around 30% more sales and signups compared to a classic A/B test. The result? A better converting page for you, ready to attract sales. In this article, we take a more critical look at Unbounce and put the program on par with its main competitors. By the end of the article, you’ll know exactly whether Unbounce is the right choice for you or if you’d rather keep looking.

More about Unbounce
Unbounce claims to have been the first true landing page builder on the market and remains innovative. The company was created in 2009 by six founders who were fed up with the long development time for pages back american mobile number list in the day. Looking for a better way to design landing pages themselves, Unbounce saw the light of day. Not long after, it also became possible to create pop-ups and sticky bars with Unbounce, increasing the focus on conversion. Indeed, Unbounce seems to keep evolving and this is likely to attract some big names as clients, such as Thinkific and Campaign Monitor.

An important starting point when using Unbounce is the fact that you choose a single platform, but you can get started with two page builders: Classic and Smart. By the way, you get these with every subscription model. With Classic, you can easily and quickly get started with an (already classic) drag-and-drop page builder. There, by the way, you can also turn quite a few knobs and even dive into code (JavaScript/CSS) if you want. Smart Builder goes one step further: based on the data set we just mentioned, Smart makes recommendations for your page, which helps to reduce development time. So, you can use ready-made templates or opt for a directly generated copy (AI). In itself, this hasn't been as relevant recently (you're sure not to have heard of ChatGPT before), but it's still a nice feature to have available within your design program. Unbounce claims that it makes you build your landing pages about half as fast as with other similar programs.

A useful feature of Classic is "dynamic text replacement." This allows you to design your pages so that the text on your landing page automatically adapts to the ad your visitor just clicked on. Another feature to increase conversion rates...

With Smart, on the other hand, you can get started quickly with key integrations like PayPal, Stripe or Shopify; without touching a single line of code.

In addition to ease of use, speed is a priority at Unbounce. In fact, Unbounce takes speed very seriously. Unbounce helps you load your pages super fast (a few seconds at most) and they do this by taking care of the hosting setup for you, image optimization, server configuration, etc. Unbounce takes care of everything for you and that can be a huge advantage over using an (open source) package like WordPress, for example.

Unbounce
Unbounce is a very popular and easy-to-use package and for good reason. The team behind the software has simply done a really neat job. Below you will find a list of the main features you can expect from Unbounce:

Classic and Smart Page Builders (drag and drop)
Dynamic text replacement
A/B split testing (in combination with Smart Traffic, where Unbounce automatically sends visitors to your best converting page. In practice, this feature simply saves you a lot of time.)
Pop-ups (again, you can choose from many ready-made templates and use the drag-and-drop builder for that)
Sticky bars
Integrations with major tools and expandable via Zapier if needed
Also with Unbounce you can choose from several pricing and subscription models. The price of each model depends on the volume of conversions, visitors, and domains you need (on a monthly basis). You can of course test things out before making your final choice by taking a 14-day free trial. The packages and prices listed below are based on monthly fees; if you're willing to pay for a year upfront, you can count on a 25% discount.

Launch ($99 per month)
The Launch package helps you get started with an unlimited number of landing pages, pop-ups, or sticky bars. You can also use
