What is this WordPress training for creating my own website about?
The Internet is a world and I'm sure you've seen similar resources in more than one place. But be careful, I said similar.

What makes it different is that I teach you to think about the strategy before you start designing. This way, you don't miss a single step necessary to make your website beautiful inside and out.

If you didn't know, I'll warn you, I love metaphors. Imagine your website is a house, where do you start building it? You're not going to start by choosing the color of the walls, right? Well, it's the same here.

First of all, the preliminary project: that is, an idea of how you would like it to be and what needs it has to meet; how long it takes you to do it, and what is your budget. There is a lot to think about even before laying the first brick. Then comes the plot where you will locate it, the foundations, how you will build the walls, the interior design and once you put the roof on, you will want to invite your friends.

Well, all of this is much more similar to creating a website than it seems, and that's why it's the best metaphor to explain how and where to start designing your website. That's why the training is structured in modules with explanatory videos and resources that you can watch and use as many times as you want. Each section is a part of building your virtual house.

Module 1: The preliminary project
We've talked about it, it's impossible to start with the roof, you need solid foundations and walls. And this is precisely the first step of the strategy, which I call "the blueprint." It's not enough for me to explain how to use WordPress without further ado, if you have no idea why , for whom and with what objectives. When I say that a website needs to be created with a strategic design, I mean this. In this phase we are going to talk –and a lot– about the details, because they are responsible for defining the product.

Before starting, you need to outline and be very clear:

who and what is the ideal client.
the visual identity .
SEO.
the content .
the strategic structure.
So in this module, which is one of the most extensive, I explain the basics of how to define each of these aspects that are key when starting the design of your site. I will also focus on something that is very important: your website should not only please you, but above all your clients for whom, ultimately, it is made .

Module 2: Acquiring the plot
In this chapter we will go into detail about choosing the domain, i.e. the hosting and the domain. These two elements can be purchased together or separately, but I prefer to do it all in one and with one of the two providers that I recommend in the training. I will also tell you how to compare one and the other to acquire the digital land that best suits you: after all, it is your virtual home.

I'll also explain how to get those professional email addresses like "[email protected]" and sync them with Gmail so you have everything in one place without much hassle.

Finally, the WordPress magic will begin. I'll show you how easy it is to install it ''with a single click''.

This may sound a bit boring at first, but it's actually a lot easier active telegram number data
than it seems. Plus, I explain it in some really cool, concise videos that have all the information you need to get started. If you don't believe me, check out the official training page.

Module 3: Technical Settings
You already have the terrain, now you need to start drawing the plan and make some adjustments so that your site has the structure you need. That's what this module is about.

Here I show you some basic and general settings that you need to take into account to start working with WordPress . Even if you try it on your own, the truth is that for these things you always need a little information about what you should put or configure. That's why you'll see that in several very short videos I detail what you have to select in order to be able to lay the foundations and make everything work correctly.

WordPress has several general and specific settings that you need to configure at first so that when you select the theme and design your pages you can implement them and have them work well.

I will also tell you how to optimize your images with a simple tool so you can put into practice what we talked about in the first module.

You will also find a video that explains how to have all the images ready, uploaded to the media library and with the appropriate SEO configuration.
