The method of earning money from

Post by ritu800 »

Every day I can call a new client and out of 20 of them at least one thinks about creating a new website. And of course, making money on it.

There are 1.13 billion websites in the world according to Forbes . Also, according to statistics, 252,000 websites appear in the world every day.

And only 0.21% receive more than 1001 visits. Think about these numbers. Every second, on average, 3 websites appear!

26 million websites are e-commerce websites. 68% of users start their internet use initially through a search engine. This was confirmed by BrightEgde . 93% of website traffic comes from Google search engine according to SparkToro .

Also, the lion's share of traffic comes from the first page: only 0.63% get traffic from the second page ( Brian Dean reports ).

The average US user views 138 pages per day.

SEO produces 14.6% lead generation according to HubSpot research .

Therefore, the obvious conclusion for any business is to add your site to search engines and bring it to the TOP 10 (and better to the TOP 1-3) of the results. And of course, the only and priority system today remains Google.

Preparing a website for adding to search engines
Sites are not always ready for normal ranking by default. As I said above, less than one percent receive significant traffic from search. That's why I put together a checklist to check for yourself whether your site is ready to be competitive in search results.

Determine the goals and objectives of the site
First of all, you should clearly understand what goals and objectives your site should solve. This will help you to correctly configure its structure and content.

A misunderstanding of goals and objectives leads to the creation of sites that actually look good, but have a completely non-obvious structure and can confuse the user.

Conventionally, websites can be divided into several categories based on their intended purpose:

E-commerce sites (or stores).
Websites with services.
Websites selling services and subscriptions.
Aggregators.
News portals.
Blogs.
Educational sites.
Social media.
Dating sites.
Websites providing medical services.
Forums and communities.
Portfolio websites.
Websites of non-profit organizations.
Websites of government agencies.
Entertainment content sites (games, movies, music).
Websites of sports clubs and organizations.
Tourist sites.
Websites of restaurants and cafes.
Sites for job/vacancy search.
Classifieds sites.
Websites for online learning.
Booking sites (hotels, tickets).
Websites of charitable organizations.
Wiki sites.
Podcast sites.
Websites of virtual museums and galleries.
I think the list could be even longer. But you understand – there are a huge number of categories. And each of them has its own characteristics.

a website can be the following:

Direct sale of content, goods and services, subscriptions.
Earnings through advertising (banners, sponsored content, referral clicks).
Donations (sponsorship, charity).
Therefore, you will need to conduct a large-scale marketing audit of all your current competitors in advance and think about the following things:

The structure of the site pages .
Filling the site with content.
Page design.
Site navigation.
We discussed many of these things in our webinars, but I repeat – for each site these things will always be unique: both within the category and the country where you will develop.

Create unique and high-quality content
Probably the most popular piece of advice. If you phone number database free have a structure, a purpose for your site, and a method for monetizing it, you need to focus on making sure that every page is done well. Even really well.

Search engines value unique and useful content. Google recently rolled out a new update dedicated specifically to quality content.

Your future website should offer valuable and useful information to visitors on every page.

Easier said than done. But here's a simple checklist for preparation.

The site has a clear name. It can be found in a search, remembered and not confused with other names. Choosing a name or naming is a complex process, but I will not dwell on it here.
Make sure that the site has information about confirmation of experience (here you need to show how long you have been working, with whom, how many clients), Awards (certificates, awards received at competitions and exhibitions), Reviews (the section should be filled with widgets from third-party services or have functionality for posting reviews). There may be one or more components.
There is a section Company History (section About Us). Websites are not faceless, they usually belong to a person or a company.
The site contains only your content. This can be Research (if there is any, this is a strong advantage), Articles (we look at the blog, study the quality of the content, check the authorship), Mentions in the media (it is good if there are links to your publications in the media, a section of the media about us. Or you are simply mentioned in the media)
Information about your contacts (the site should have such an indicator as NAT data - or Name Address Phone). Think over the section How to contact you, Site location (the site should have the company address/addresses). Social network profiles and messengers for communication also go here.
The content component is presented clearly, there is convenient navigation through the pages. Regardless of the type of site, your content should respond to the intent (a kind of “user silent request”). And the information should be displayed in an intuitive form. If this is an online store, show the product, characteristics, price, availability, delivery terms, etc. in a prominent place. If this is a subscription payment, show the rates for different subscription terms and payment terms.
Regardless of the category of the site, these things already help make you better.

Customize URLs
Each site is a set of documents. And the documents have clear addresses. These addresses are also called URL (from English Uniform Resource Locator).

The URLs of each page should be clear and contain keywords. All search engines say this.

URL-адрес: Uniform Resource Locator
Follow these simple rules:

Image

Do not use special characters, or even numbers (unless necessary).
Use hyphens to separate words.
Avoid underscores, non-ASCII characters in links.
Remove unnecessary information. Reduce it to the keyword.
Make it lowercase.
Links should be human-readable (I talked about this in the podcast about CNC ).
Links to main pages should not be dynamic.
Limit the number of subfolders in the structure.
Try to keep URLs short.
Optimize your meta tags
Each page is a web document. And it has certain data that must be written down.

Page titles, descriptions, and keywords should be optimized for search engines. They should contain the keywords that you want your site to rank for in search engines.

In short, for each page you need to prepare:

Meta Title tag. Most often displayed in search results when your site is shown (with some exceptions).
Description Meta Tag. May be displayed in search results when your site is shown. Use the Headline Calculator to write the perfect title and description.
H1 Heading: This should be based on your keyword.
Robots meta tags that affect content indexing: Index, Noindex, Nofollow, Follow and others).
Set up ALT tags on all images.

Many people miss this point, but structured data for search engines is a way to classify pages. How do you tell a search engine that this is a product card, and this is a product list, and this is an article?

It is structured data that allows Google and other search engines to understand what kind of page they are looking at.
