Plan Your Future with Future Planning Guide

Post by shkwiw »

As Markethinkers, in our first ' Personal Development Study ', we would like to share with you a study that will guide you towards your personal future planning and clarify your path.

First of all, let us share the story of this guide with you.

About a month ago, Dilara was at a crossroads in her life. This crossroads was about whether to change her major or which major she would switch to.

He was not happy in the Mechatronic Engineering department telemarketing data he was currently studying and could not see himself being happy doing this job in the future.

We thought and discussed for a long time, but Dilara could not draw a clear path. So we got up and went to talk to some of our professors at Işık University, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), where we study.

We learned about this guide from Mr. Yüce Uyanık, a faculty member of the Department of Business Administration, during these consultations .

Frankly, this consultation was very effective in creating Dilara and I's future plans and gaining perspective. We are sharing with you the guide that our teacher Yüce gave us.

Future Planning Guide

1- Who am I, what are my strengths and values?

2- What do I want? (20 years later)

3- Do I really want it?

4- Am I ready to pay the price in advance?

5- What should I do, when, with whom and how?

Advice: Whatever you do, learn why and do it.

Here is the guide to the future given by our great teacher.

Our guide consists of five simple yet effective questions. First, we start by knowing ourselves and explaining this. Of course, knowing what we want is a very important starting point.

Let's explain the question of whether I really want it as follows; there is wanting and there is really wanting it.

For example, I want a car. But if I really want it, then I should be making an effort for it and trying to achieve it.

This is what we mean by truly wanting.

And of course, nothing is gained without paying the price. So this question is about whether you are ready to pay the necessary price from the very beginning for what you want to achieve, that is, the consequences of the decision you will make.
